How do walk-in tubs with dual drain systems benefit seniors with frequent bathing needs?

A dual-drain design may help empty a walk-in tub more quickly, depending on the model and the connected plumbing. Ask for the drain specification and whether any powered components need electricity to operate. Faster draining can shorten the wait to get out, but advertised times are not guaranteed in every home. Keep both drains maintained as instructed and include any plumbing changes in the installed price.
