What are the reasons to own a walk-in tub for seniors with limited bathroom space?

Compact walk-in tubs may suit a smaller bathroom, but a smaller exterior can also mean less usable seating and leg room. Measure the alcove, delivery route and door swing, then check that the user can enter, sit and exit comfortably. Allow room for assistance where needed. Compare a properly fitted compact bathtub with other accessible bathing options before assuming a small model avoids all renovation work.
