What Are the Durability Features of Walk-In Tubs for Long-Term Use?

Walk-in tub durability depends on the shell, door seal, fittings and powered components as well as installation and maintenance. Acrylic and fiberglass constructions have different specifications; compare the actual model rather than assuming either is maintenance-free. Read which parts and labor the warranty covers, for how long, and who services the tub locally. A lifetime label does not necessarily cover every component or installation cost.
