How Do the Costs of Safety Tubs for Seniors Compare to Traditional Tubs?

Walk-in tubs often cost more than a basic conventional bathtub because of the door, seating and specialized fittings. Jets, heaters and installation changes can add further cost. Compare complete installed prices for both options, including removal and finishing, and consider how the access design meets your needs. A walk-in tub should not be justified by guaranteed medical savings or resale returns.
