Why is draining speed important with a walk-in tub?

Most walk-in bathtub doors must remain closed until the water has drained, so draining speed affects how long you wait to get out. A faster system can make that wait more comfortable, especially if sitting in the emptying bath feels cold. Actual times depend on the tub and household plumbing. Faster draining does not make the floor dry or remove the need for grab bars and assistance where appropriate.
