How does a walk-in bathtub pay for itself?

A walk-in bathtub should not be expected to pay for itself. Easier access and more comfortable bathing may be valuable to you, but reduced care costs, fewer medical bills and a resale premium are not guaranteed. Compare the installed price, maintenance, warranty and suitability with other bathing options. Buy for the practical benefit it offers your household rather than a promised financial return.
