How do walk-in bathtubs improve bathroom aesthetics for seniors?

Walk-in bathtubs can be coordinated with a bathroom through their finish, faucet style, wall surround and trim. Check samples and the finished dimensions rather than relying only on a product photograph. The surrounding wall finish and removal of the old tub can materially affect the installation price. A tidy, well-fitted installation can improve the room's appearance, but a particular resale gain or maintenance-free finish should not be assumed.
