What are the therapeutic benefits of hydrotherapy in walk-in bathtubs for seniors?

Hydrotherapy walk-in tubs use water jets, air jets or both to create a massage or bubbling sensation. These features may make bathing more comfortable and relaxing, but they do not guarantee improvements in pain, circulation or mobility. Compare jet placement, intensity controls, cleaning needs and the additional installed price. If you are choosing a therapy tub for a medical condition, check whether heat and jets are appropriate with your clinician.
