How do walk-in tubs with wide interiors accommodate seniors with larger body frames?

A wider walk-in tub interior may offer a more comfortable fit for a larger user, but exterior width alone does not establish suitability. Check the seat width, usable leg room, clear door opening and the manufacturer's weight rating. The delivery route and bathroom must also accommodate the model. Compare properly sized tubs and the required installation work before deciding; a standard-size tub is not automatically appropriate for every body frame.
